EP Candlelight Theatre Hit Boards In 'The Man Who Came To Dinner'

Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre hits the boards with the great American comedy 'The Man Who Came To Dinner,' Sept. 28 to Sept. 30.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre presents that great American comedy The Man Who Came To Dinner starring a talented cast of community players for a weekend run at the Evergreen Park Senior Center, 3450 S. Homan Ave. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and Sept. 29; and a 3 p.m. matinee on Sept. 30. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, and $5 for kids 9 and under.

The George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart classic comedy tells the story of a witty lecturer and writer Sheridan Whiteside who slips on the ice at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley. The sharp-tongued Whiteside, now recuperating at their home for two weeks, turns the house upside-down and meddles in the affairs of the family and his own secretary. Although very tame in nature, the play does touch on adult themes, with some minor profanity. Therefore, please use discretion with bringing children.

Tickets are now on sale at the Community Center, 3450 W. 97th Street, also with an option to order by mail. Submit your ticket order through the website.
