EP Candlelight Theatre Presents Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'
Tickets are on sale now for Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre's production of "The Tempest" May 2 through May 5.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Evergreen Park Candlelight Theatre hits the boards in William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.” Shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 2 through May 4, with a matinee at 3 p.m. May 5. Performances will be held at the Evergreen Green Park Senior Center, 9547 S. Homan Ave.
"The Tempest" opens in the midst of a storm, as a ship containing the king of Naples and his party struggles to stay afloat. On land, Prospero, the deposed Duke of Milan, and his daughter, Miranda, watch the storm envelop the ship from the island where both have been stranded for many years. The play follows Prospero who uses magic to create a tempest to restore his daughter to the throne.
Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors over 65. For priority seating, buy tickets in advance at the new Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St. Reservations to see the shows can also be reserved by calling the box office at 708-229-3343. Will-call tickets can be paid for the day of the performance; however, tickets that are not claimed 30 minutes before show time will be sold.
