EPBC Seeks Sponsors And Partners For Youth Baseball Program
After decades of support, Evergreen Park Baseball Club plans to pay back pandemic-impacted businesses with promotions and partnerships.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — The Evergreen Park Baseball Club is preparing for another spring and summer season of children playing baseball. Instead of asking for sponsors, the youth baseball club wants to be there for local businesses who have endured so much over the past year with the pandemic.
In non-pandemic years, a team sponsorship costs $350, which helps offset the cost of uniforms, equipment and other league expenses. After decades of generous support from the local business community, EPBC wants to pay back businesses from Evergreen Park and the surrounding area. EPBC understands there are some businesses that are unable to donate at this time. The youth baseball program will promote those businesses FREE on its website, through email blasts, Twitter and banners at the park. The list will be emailed to EPBC’s approximately 500-player families encouraging them to shop and dine local.
Local food establishments are also invited to participate in any type of “eat and earn” cross promotion that benefits both the restaurant and the baseball program. Monetary donations of any amount will be gratefully accepted.

“We are here to support you and your business just like you have done for so many of our youngest residents through the years,” EPBC President Brian Harmon said.
Finally, in place of listing sponsors on the back of team uniforms, EPBC team uniforms will carry a message honoring retiring Evergreen Park Mayor Jim Sexton.
