EPCHS Announces AP Scholars
The College Board's Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school.

Mr. William Sanderson, principal at Evergreen Park Community High School is pleased to announce that 23 current students and 2020 graduates earned AP Scholar recognition by The College Board. In addition to the 23 AP Scholars, an additional 75 students can potentially earn college credit for receiving at least one 3 or higher on an AP exam. The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school, and to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on AP exams. The College Board honors outstanding performances on AP exams with several levels of recognition. The following students received recognition as AP Scholars.
Students who received scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams (AP Scholars) are 2020 graduates Lilah Brown, Florencia Luciano, Ruby Mendoza, Andrea Rivera, Brooke Scanlon, and Rachel Witte; current seniors Cassidy Keegan, Ernesto Mora, Nellie O’Grady, and Catherine Schulte.
Students who received an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more on those exams (AP Scholar with Honor) are 2020 graduates Angela Bosch, Liam Duffy, Kallista Elwood, Kathleen Jacobson, and Sarah Meyer; current senior Emmanuel Onyango.

Students who received an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more on these exams (AP Scholar with Distinction) are 2020 graduates Colin Brennan, Sinead Doogan, Cameron Dunlap, Liam Kantzler, Christopher Kompare, Matthew Miglieri, and Kevin O’Toole.
In addition to being named an AP Scholar with Distinction, 2020 graduate Colin Brennan was named a National AP Scholar for receiving an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
