EPCHS Art Students Win Big at SSC Regional Art Exhibit
There were 16 possible awards and EPCHS won seven of them!
EPCHS art students were among the students from other area high schools that recently participated in the South Suburban College Regional Art Exhibit. There were 16 possible awards and EPCHS won seven of them!
Award recipients were Shannon Morrison – Best in Show 3-D, Dave Lucio – Runner Up Best in Show 3-D, Andrea Beltran - Joe Rehjolic Memorial Merit Awards from SSC, Evelyn Rodriguez - Joe Rehjolic Memorial Merit Awards from SSC, Naeli Pedraza – Award of Distinction from the American Academy of Art Chicago, Cassidy McMullin – Great Clay Awards sponsored by Ceramic Supply Chicago, and Michelle Esparza - Great Clay Awards sponsored by Ceramic Supply Chicago.
“Despite this year's challenges, these awards speak tremendously to the effort and passion the students at EPCHS pour into their art,” said Mrs. McArthur. “Congratulations to all of the participants that submitted pieces and a special congrats to our winners. The Art Department is so proud of each and every one of you."
