Missing Teen Has Been Safely Located: UPDATE

The 14-year-old girl has been located and reunited with her family, Evergreen Park police said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — UPDATE: The teen has been located and reunited with her family.

Evergreen Park police are looking for a teen who has been missing since Friday. Nkechi Onyebuagu, 14, was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at or near the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave. She may be in the company of an older black male.

A man ordered an Uber for Nkechi to take her to 2101 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, from the library.

Nkechi attends Evergreen Park Community High School. She is black, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray leggings, dark blue Crocs and gold framed glasses. The teen was last known to have a short Afro, but may have recently changed her hairstyle.
