EPCHS Students Can Use School ID As Library Card
Evergreen Park Public Library waives fines and activates library cards for students at Evergreen Park Community High School.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — As Evergreen Park Community High School students navigate challenging learning environments, the library is activating library cards and waiving fines to assist students.
The Evergreen Park Public Library public services' coordinator Ana Gomez partnered with EPCHS media specialist Dr. Tina Ward to remove barriers to public library services and resources. Now, every EPCHS student’s school ID also serves as their library card, so students can check out physical and downloadable materials and access valuable online resources such as Homework HelpNOW live tutoring.
By the numbers, 523 student accounts were renewed, 232 new accounts created, and $726.77
overdue fines were waived.
