Evergreen Park Cop's Kindness Caught on Camera
There's not much to it, but there really doesn't need to be. Kudos, officer.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Sometimes, all it takes is a photo.
On a dreary Sunday morning in Evergreen Park, a police officer's act of kindness brightened the day of a pedestrian, and any who witnessed it. A photo captured the officer escorting a man in a motorized scooter across the street at 95th and Millard.
The gesture took place around 10:45 a.m., just before 11 a.m. Mass at nearby Most Holy Redeemer Church. Parishioner Maggie Maloney noticed the moment and took the photo.
