Evergreen Park Kicks Off Holiday Season With Tree Lighting
Join your neighbors for sounds of the season and community tree lighting this Saturday, Dec. 1, in 50-Acre Park.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The Village of Evergreen Park will light up the park this Saturday, Dec. 1. Join your neighbors at 50-Acre Park at Rockwell and 91st Street for the community Christmas tree lighting. The festive event features:
3:45 p.m. - Evergreen Park Recreation Dept. Dance Ensemble
4 to 5 p.m. - performance by the Southwest Community Concert Brass Ensemble
5 to 5:30 p.m. - Those Funny Little People
5:45 to 6:15 p.m. - Evergreen Park High School Madrigal Choir
6 p.m. - Tree lighting
There will be no Dickens Christmas in 2018 because of ongoing construction around the Evergreen Park Community Center. The village hopes to bring A Dickens Christmas back next year.
