Evergreen Park Mustangs Advance To IHSA Quarterfinal
The Mustangs hope to continue their playoff magic when they host Montini Catholic in an IHSA quarterfinal game Saturday.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL - The Evergreen Park High School Mustangs football team continues its playoff run this weekend after a dominant performance in its second round victory over Elmwood Park last weekend. The Mustangs dominated in the "battle of E.P.'s," winning 52-14 at home.
The win gave Evergreen Park, a No. 16 seed heading into the IHSA Class 5A football playoffs, a spot in the quarterfinal round. Montini Catholic will visit Evergreen Park for a 2 p.m. tilt on Saturday, Nov. 10. Admission to the IHSA Class 5A quarterfinal game is $6.
Just passing the playoff cut with a 5-4 record, the Mustangs have been on fire offensively in the postseason. The team has amassed 100 points combined in the wins over Elmwood Park last week and Walter Payton College Prep the week before.
