Evergreen Park Public Library Finishes Summer Program Strong
Fun and free events to get you through your hump day.

Looking for something fun and free to do today? The Evergreen Park Public Library has events for all ages.
LEGO Club
Grade school children can enjoy testing their creativity by building with LEGOs tonight at 6:30 p.m. The library will provide a theme, and children from kindergarten to 5th grade will have a chance to build a LEGO masterpiece. For more information, check out the listing on our Events page.
Cartouche and Codes & Ciphers
Middle school and high school students, it’s time to learn more about the codes of history at the Evergreen Park Public Library. At Cartouche from 3 to 4 p.m., the library will provide the materials for you to create a unique necklace with your name spelled out in hieroglyphics. At 6 p.m., the library hosts Codes & Ciphers. Students can learn the history of codes and ciphers and create their own special code.

And teens, don’t forget about the upcoming End of Summer Lock-In if you’ve read 5 books this summer. The lock-in is this Friday at 6 p.m. A permission slip is required to attend.
Gone Girl Book Discussion
Join the Kindred Spirits Book Club as they discuss Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl at 7 p.m. Visit the circulation desk for more information on the book club’s monthly selections.

This weekend, the library will also have a pre-sale for its annual Gigantic Book Sale. A $5 donation gains you entry before the general public for the best selection. You can still donate your items to the book sale this week.
