Help Southeast Elementary or Your Local School by Saving Your Box Tops

Saving box tops is easy and it makes things easier on your school district, if only by a little bit.

It may be a few weeks before the school year begins, but that doesn't mean you can't start saving now. And not just saving money: Saving your labels and box tops to help out your local schools.

Southeast Elementary School, 9800 S. Francisco Ave., is collecting Box Tops for Education, Tyson Project A+ Labels and Labels for Education, all of which help give back to the school.

If you're not in the habit of clipping box tops or labels, it's one of the simplest ways to give back to your local school. All you have to do is clip the coupon on a product, send it with your child to school and it gives the school a certain amount of money in cash per coupon collected.

Box Tops for Education gives schools 10 cents per coupon and can be found on the boxes of many products, from frozen foods and snacks to school supplies and paper products. Check out the full list of products that provide Box Tops for Education here.

Tyson Project A+ Labels are worth 24 cents apiece for schools and can be found on the back of most Tyson packages. Labels for Education is a clipping of the UPC code or of a beverage or sauce cap. Labels for Education's full list of products covered is here.

Box tops and labels are a surprisingly simple way to help your school, so why not help your school and district out by cutting a few out and giving them to your kids? It could make a world of difference.
