Pet Blessings Mark St. Francis Feast Day In Evergreen Park
Evergreen Park parishes will hold outdoor pet blessings at Queen of Martyrs on Saturday, Oct. 3 and St. Bernadette on Sunday, Oct. 4
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago will mark the fest day of St. Francis of Assisi with outdoor pet blessings. St Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Furry, feathery, fluffy, slimy and spikey friends of all shapes and sizes are welcome to the celebrations. All animals must be safely secured or on leashes.
