Queen of Martyrs' Spoof Video Wins Landscaping Grant

Queen of Martyrs students' spoof video helps the school nab a landscaping grant from William Quinn and Sons Landscape.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- We are SOOOOO excited to announce that Queen of Martyrs Catholic School has WON the William Quinn and Sons Landscape (Alsip, IL) Makeover Contest! William Quinn & Sons Landscaping held a contest for local Catholic Schools. The winning school (Queen of Martyrs!) will receive $5,000 in landscaping and 300 square feet of paver bricks.

Way to go, Wildcats! The principal, Kathleen Tomaszewski, her staff and many of the children created a video spoof of "It's A Hard Knock Life.....Queen of Martyrs Style!" with rewritten words and of course great acting! The video can be seen on our Facebook page for the School. Each student also created a flower shaped like their hand and answered questions stating why our school should be chosen. We are so proud! Thank you, William Quinn & Sons!

Queen of Martyrs Catholic School offers half and full day preschool and K-8th grade faith-based
education with options for Extended Day. At Queen of Martyrs, we educate the whole child: mentally, physically and spiritually. For more information or to take a tour of our school, please visit www.qmschool.com or call 708-422-1540.
