Retirement Party Planned For Evergreen Park Mayor Jim Sexton
Join the Sexton family and friends in honor of James Sexton's 40 years of service to the Evergreen Park at his retirement party, July 21.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Please join the Sexton family and friends for a retirement party in honor of long-time Mayor James Sexton.
Jim Sexton logged 40 years of dedication and commitment to the residents of Evergreen Park as an elected village official, serving eight years as trustee and six years as village clerk. Sexton was elected mayor in 2001, an office he held until 2021.
Sexton announced his retirement in 2020 and endorsed State Rep. Kelly Burke, who was elected mayor in April.

Join the mayor’s soirée from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park.
Tickets are $40 at the door and include drinks, appetizers and live entertainment. There is no need to RSVP, just show up and send Jim Sexton out in style.
