Tickets Going Fast For City Lights Orchestra's Holiday Concert

Admission is free but tickets are required to see the City Lights Orchestra's Sounds of the Season concert on Dec. 15.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Tickets are going fast for Evergreen Park’s annual City Lights Orchestra Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15. The concert starts at 7 p.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave.

The concert is free, but concertgoers must have a ticket to admitted to the performance. Tickets are limited to four per person and are only available as long as supplies last. The free tickets can be picked up at the Evergreen Park Recreation Department, 3450 W. 97th St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The City Lights Orchestra and vocalists will be conducted by South Side native Rich Daniels. The renowned, 32-piece orchestra will be playing holiday classics as well as a few other surprises. Daniels' CLO has appeared with some of the greatest names in show biz, including Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Dennis DeYoung, Diane Schuur, Dihann Carroll, The Four Topps, Smokey Robinson, The Manhattan Transfer, Frankie Laine and David Foster, to name a few. The classy and elegant City Lights Orchestra is a popular fixture in the village's summer concert series.
