West Point Boxing Team Steps Into the Ring for 2 Events
Exhibition bouts will be Saturday afternoon at Leo Catholic High School, and the main event will be that night at Beverly Woods Restaurant.

The following press release is from West Point Boxing:
The West Point Boxing team brings its Warrior Leaders of Character tour to the South Side on Saturday, with exhibition bouts at 1 p.m. in the storied Leo Catholic High School gym, 7901 S. Sangamon St., and eight bouts of ringside boxing at 6 p.m. at Beverly Woods Restaurant.
“The goal of the exhibition is to demonstrate sportsmanship, leadership and character through the sport of boxing,” promoter Mike Joyce said. “West Point identifies with Leo’s mission and has generously offered to run the all-ages exhibition in the Leo gym and follow it up Saturday night with boxing at its best—the sweet science in action.”
