Zemsky's Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday In Evergreen Plaza

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Zemsky's Work Wear and Uniforms will celebrate its grand opening at Evergreen Plaza, 95th Street and Western Avenue, Evergreen Park. The store will throw open its doors at 10 a.m. A ribbon-cutting is planned a few minutes before the store opens.

To celebrate the grand opening, all store work and uniform apparel will be 20-percent off of Zemsky’s already super low prices. Zemsky's has been around since 1958. The new store in Evergreen Park marks the chain's fourth location, which includes Ford City, Bricktown Square and 4187 S. Archer Ave., Chicago.

The store carries all style of workwear and uniforms, medical scrubs, coats and chef wear, including such well-known brands as Dickies, Carhartt, Wrangler/Riggs, Timberland, French Toast and Dutch Harbor, to name a few.

Zemsky's also carries school uniforms for Chicago Public Schools and Catalyst Circle Rock and Catalyst Maria charter schools. While most local parochial schools refer parents to their own retailers, Zemsky’s offers the French Toast brand for plaids which come in the following colors: blue/red plaid, burgundy/gray plaid, and green plaid. If these plaids do not meet the parochial school requirements, Zemsky’s carries twill uniform pants for boys and girls in navy, khaki, black, gray and hunter.

Youth size short sleeve and long sleeve polo shirts in a variety of styles and a rainbow of colors are offered, as well as long sleeve and short sleeve dress shirts and oxford button-down shirts for boys in white and light blue, as well as long sleeve and short sleeve blouses for girls, with both the pointed collar and the rounded “Peter Pan” collar, in white and light blue.

Parochial school parents can find sweaters, cardigans and vests for boys and girls in navy, red, hunter, spruce and black, as well as a variety of hair accessories, belts, and socks in black, red, navy, hunter, and white in lengths from ankle to knee-high are available at the store. Zemsky’s also carries plain color T-shirts, sweatpants and crew neck sweatshirts.

The store is located in Evergreen Plaza between Burlington's and Bath and Body Works.
Hours for the Evergreen Park location are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
