Best Pizza Place In Glenview: Readers Pick

GLENVIEW, IL — We asked Glenview Patch readers this week to give us their best pizza place recommendations. And the results on your favorite spots are now in.

In total, 80 readers shared their go-to pizza places in Glenview.

It was a close call, but Lou Malnati's narrowly beat out Viccino's Pizza Company. Pizano's Pizza & Pasta was next in total votes in our reader's poll that ran Monday through Friday last week.

Lou Malnati's, located at 3120 Glenview Road, Glenview, opened in 1971 in Lincolnwood. Headquartered in Northbrook, it now has 57 restaurants in the Chicago area, four in Phoenix, two in Milwaukee and two in Indiana.

Readers taking our poll raved about the crust, among other things, at Lou Malnati's.

"Love the crust on both deep dish and thin crust. My grandson loves as he calls it the square pizza," wrote one reader.

Another reader said, "Always fresh ingredients on the perfect crust. It is the closest pizza to Uno and Duo in the 70s."
