Construction Begins On Abt Electronic Expansion Project

GLENVIEW, IL – McShane Construction Company is currently constructing a 429,524 square-foot addition to Abt Electronics' warehouse and showroom in Glenview.

The new building will include warehouse and office space, 39 semi-truck docks, 144 box truck positions and is slated to be completed by October.

"We look forward to adding needed space for Abt Electronics to expand their operations," said Tom Beres, Vice President at McShane, in a prepared statement. "We understand that the construction activities on expansion projects can be disruptive to the existing facility and employees so we've carefully planned the construction process so that the business can remain fully operational with minimal disturbances."

The addition will include two three-story office blocks. The offices will including trucking offices, security offices, a break room and open office space for future buildouts.
