Death Of 11-Year-Old Glenview Girl Under Investigation: Police
The Glenview girl was rushed to Glenbrook Hospital Saturday after having a medical emergency at the Glenview Park Center.
GLENVIEW, IL — An 11-year-old Glenview girl died Saturday following a medical emergency at the Glenview Park Center. Police were called to 2400 Chestnut Ave. at 2:22 p.m. and she was taken by Glenview firefighters to Glenbrook Hospital.
The girl, who lived in the 4700 block of Linden Avenue, was pronounced dead at 3:50 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. No foul play is suspected.
"We are all very saddened, and our thoughts and prayers go out to this little girl’s family. This is a tragedy for the family and for the community,” Glenview Park District Executive Director Michael McCarty said in a statement.
