GLENVIEW, IL — Students, staff members, families and community members who live within West Northfield School District 31 will have access to free coronavirus testing on Tuesday as part of a community partnership, District 31 officials have announced.

The testing will take place from 7-9 a.m. at Winkelman School, which is located at 1919 Landwehr Rd. in Glenview. Participants will receive the COVID-19 PCR test, which uses a self-collection throat swab to detect the presence of the virus that causes COVID-19. Testing services will take place on-site and results and provided confidentially through email notification and sent to an address that is provided by participants. The district will not receive results of the testing.

A photo ID is required and no insurance is needed as the testing is free. Students without an ID will need to be in the company of a parent or guardian, who will need to show identification.
