Fireworks Show A Go On Fourth Of July in Glenview
The celebration will be paired with a "reverse parade" during the holiday weekend.
GLENVIEW, IL — Though the show will not be synchronized to music and there will be no live musical performance, the annual Fourth of July fireworks show in Glenview is moving forward. The Glenview Park District made the announcement Friday and said the show will be held July 4 at Gallery Park.
More details about parking and crowd control will be released in June.
In April, the Park District and Village announced plans for hosting a "reverse" parade for the second straight year. Residents will be able to obtain timed tickets to drive through Community Park West to see stationary “floats” set up by community groups from the safety of their cars. More details and tickets for the “reverse” parade will also be released in June.
