Virtual Download & Stream Individual Appointments
Meet virtually with trained Library staff and learn how to download eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, TV shows, or music to your mobile device. Schedule a virtual one-on-one appointment through our online form or email readerservicesdesk@glenviewpl.org and we will contact you to set up a time slot. Appointments conducted via Zoom and are limited to GPL cardholders.

Your Books2Go
Looking to pick up a few good books? Reader’s Advisory staff is here to help. Fill out a short survey to let us know the type of books you like to read. Within three business days, staff will select three titles based on your reading preferences and have them ready for you to pick up at the Drive-Up Window. Or staff can suggest titles available through the Library’s digital collections.

Daily Observations: Drawing Objects from Life
Artist Mou Saha shows her uncomplicated and mindful technique for drawing everyday objects from nature or around your home. Using pencil, ink, and watercolor, you will learn how to create lovely, meaningful artworks while practicing your technique.
Consumer Reports
Looking for the perfect gift for friends and family? The Consumer Reports database has buying guides, articles, and rankings that make it easy to see what products consumers love or hate. It’s also easy to compare different products to see how they match up in rankings or price. Access the database through our website and click on Consumer Reports. Library card required.

Judy Beck Grant
The Glenview Park District is proud to announce the first annual Judy Beck Grant program. This grant is in honor of Judy’s environmental legacy in Glenview. The grant program will offer $5,000 in annual grants available to non-profit groups or individuals with projects focusing on environmental conservation, sustainability, community engagement or youth development. The application deadline is December 18. Learn more here.
