Glenview 5-Year-Old Requests Pocket Schedules From Every MLB Team

GLENVIEW, IL — A Glenview 5-year-old who penned letters to every Major League Baseball team requesting pocket schedules has received more than he asked for, the Chicago Tribune reported. Mike and Coleen O’Connor helped son Colin prepare a request to all 30 teams and sent them away along with self-addressed stamped envelopes.

"Hi, I am a big baseball fan. I am collecting pocket schedules of all the MLB teams for the 2018 season. Could you please send me one for your team? Thank you, Colin, Age 5," his letter read, according to the Tribune.

So far, they've gotten answers from from every team except the New York Yankees and San Diego Padres, the O'Connors told the paper. Some of the responses included a plastic bag of dirt from a stadium, wall stickers, an autographed photo of a team mascot and temporary tattoos.
