Glenview Church Still Shaken From Pastor Theft Charges

Glenview's Sts. Peter and Paul Church recently wrote to their church's central body a request to suspend the church's pastor, Fr. Jakes Dokos, for being under investigation by the Milwaukee County district attorney's office for a possible theft from the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

However, the request was met with a sharp reply, with the church's central body ordering Saints Peter and Paul to remove its council president, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The church's central body had given the church express directions not to discuss the Dokos investigation, the Chicago Tribune separately reported.
