Glenview Homicide Victim's Name Released
The Cook County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the June 29 gun-involved homicide in Unincorporated Glenview.

GLENVIEW, IL — While few details are known publically regarding a June 29 homicide, the name of the victim has been released. Johnathan Joseph Hacker, 41, of the 500 block Cherry Lane, Glenview, died from multiple gunshot wounds during the early morning hours, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The Cook County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case.
The homicide, which happened at 2:13 a.m., occurred in the 10300 block of Michael Todd Terrace, Unincorporated Glenview. Hacker was pronounced dead at 2:47 a.m.

With the death happening in Unincorporated Glenview, the Glenview Police Department isn't involved in the investigation. A spokesperson for the Cook County Sheriff's Office told Patch Thursday there are no updates to the investigation at this time.
