Glenview Man Charged With Residential Burglary

The information in this blotter was reported by Glenview Police on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Glenview Police Department:

Warrant Arrest
Maureen Symington, 53, of the 1000 block of Butternut Lane in Northbrook, was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, according to police. 

Residential Burglary
Joseph Wleklinski, 39, of the 200 block of Glendale Road in Glenview, was arrested and charged with residential burglary at 3:49 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue, according to police. He was also charged with felony criminal trespass and misdemeanor criminal trespass, police said. 

Driving Under the Influence
Dewon Howard, 31, of the 4900 block of West Hirsch Street in Chicago, was arrested at West Lake and Milwaukee avenues at 2:17 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, according to police. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and improper lane usage, police said.

Domestic Battery
A 42-year-old Northbrook man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 9:59 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, according to police. 

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
James Murray, 31, of the 700 block of Becker Road in Glenview, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disobeying a red light and failure to signal when required at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, according to police.

Retail Theft
Alissa King, 41, of the 1700 block of Central Road in Glenview, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the 1900 block of Tower Drive, according to police.
