Glenview Memory Care Celebrates Nurses, Residents with Luau
National Nurses Week was May 6-12.
GLENVIEW, IL — A fire dancer and hula performer sparked up the day for seniors living at a local memory care community. The duo performed outside Emerald Place, located in Glenview, for residents and to recognize and celebrate nurses during National Nurses Week (May 6-12).
"Our residents wanted a way to honor and celebrate our nurses for all that they do," said Caitlin Terrell, executive director for Emerald Place, in a news release. “In return, our team wanted to recognize the residents for being true warriors during the pandemic.”
The community, operated by Anthem Memory Care, is located at 1879 Chestnut Ave. in Glenview. Everyone enjoyed dancing and luau themed foods.
