Glenview Officials Update Residents On COVID-19 Precautions
All meetings of Village boards and commissions will continue to be held virtually.
The Village of Glenview adjusts its operations as part of its ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the emphasis on protecting the health and safety of residents and businesses as well as first responders and their families. These adjustments ensure the continuity of essential public safety and protects frontline Village services.
As the Village did in April 2020, staff has again been temporarily redistributed from Fire Station 13, 831 East Lake Avenue, to Glenview's four other fire stations to minimize employee exposure and increase the availability of EMS equipment. This shift means all three Glenview ambulances can be manned around the clock. This plan will remain in place at least until the vaccination process for Glenview's first responders is completed.
