Glenview to Host Golf Tourney, Expected to Draw up to 30,000 Fans

Glenview's North Shore Country Club will host the Encompass Championship golf tournament from June 17 to 23.

Up to 30,000 fans are expected to attend the Encompass Championship golf tournament at Glenview’s North Shore Country Club between June 17 and 23, Glenview Announcement reported. 

Tour professionals will be competing for the $1.8 million prize during the weeklong tournament, which is expected to draw Chicago area locals such as Jeff Sluman and Chip Beck, along with World Golf Hall of Fame members Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Bernhard Langer, Nick Price and Tom Watson, Glenview Announcement reported.
