Halloween Is Here at Glenview's Card & Party Giant
The store at 1318 Waukegan has only been open since January, but the business has served downtown Glenview for more than 10 years.
Card & Party Giant has been in downtown Glenview for more than 10 years, but moved to their current location at 1318 Waukegan Rd. in January. Despite the publicized move, owner Chuck Schwartz says people still don't realize the store moved.
"The community is responding is great to our new store," Schwartz said. "The problem is, people keep saying they don't know we moved."
With more than 400 Halloween costumes for sale, along with masks and seasonal decorations, Card & Party Giant is Glenview's destination for the perfect October 31st.

Unlike some other party supply stores, which only carry Halloween costumes for part of the year, Schwartz says Card & Party Giant has them for sale year round.
Among their most popular costumes this year are the various colored morph suits (as seen in the video above). These suits come in one or two pieces, and cover the a person's entire body in a flexible fabric.
Schwartz said they're especially popular among men who want a costume that is cool, but doesn't get in the way throughout the night.
In total, Card & Party Giant sells more than 25,000 thousand items, in the store and online. Among some of the store's most notable offerings are items branded for both Glenbrook high schools, New Trier and Loyola Academy.
Schwartz also says their store is the only shop in the area that sells official Super Mario merchandise, based on a special deal his store has with the merchandiser.
