Harlem and Henley Construction Delayed One Day
The roadwork will now happen Tuesday and Wednesday.

The following is from the Village of Glenview:
Starting the week of August 11, construction will begin at the intersection of Henley Street and Harlem Avenue, and will continue on Henley Street west of Harlem Avenue to Washington Street. The work to replace stormwater infrastructure that dates back to the 1940s involves installing 3,160 linear feet of new, larger storm sewers on portions of Dewes, Elm and Henley streets and establishing a new stormwater detention basin.
As a result, the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Henley Street will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, August 11, and Tuesday, August 12. It will be open to traffic before and after construction hours each day. Motorists are urged to use Shermer Road to the east. Here’s a detour map.
