LGBTQ Unity Flag Damaged; Possible HVAC Repair Fraud: Blotter
A local church reported a flag on the property was damaged; a resident was suspicious of an HVAC repair person: Glenview Police Blotter.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. BOND FORFEITURE WARRANT

- Nestor Bahena-Garcia, 33, of the 50 block of South Branch Road, Northfield, is accused of having a warrant for bond forfeiture and was arrested at 4:06 a.m. May 18 at the Glenview Police Station, 2500 E Lake Ave. He was unable to post bond and held for a bond hearing.
- Margarita Zuniga, 36, of the 10000 block of Holly Lane, Des Plaines, is accused of having an active warrant out of Glenview for bond forfeiture, and was arrested at 3:38 a.m. May 21 by Des Plaines police. She was transported to the Glenview Police Department, 2500 E Lake Ave. for a bond hearing.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Ewelina Pikulskawas, 39, of the 8900 block of Western Avenue, Des Plaines, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, following too closely, and was arrested at 6:45 p.m. May 18 in the 8500 block of Golf Road. She was released after posting bond and assigned a court date of July 1 in Skokie.
- Mario J. Santana, 25, of the 4400 block of North Spaulding Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs, illegal transportation of cannabis by a driver, speeding 26-34 mph over the limit, no valid driver's license, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 8:37 p.m. May 19 in the 0-100 block of Harms Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of July 1 in Skokie.

Bryanna Hernandez, 23, of the 8000 block of N Kilpatrick Avenue, is accused of having an active warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear, and was arrested at 11:20 a.m. May 20 at the Glenview Police Department, 2500 E Lake Ave. She was turned over to DuPage County Sheriff's deputies.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A person at a church in the 1000 block of Elm Street reported at 8:14 a.m. May 18 someone damaged an LGBTQ Unity flag posted on the property. Reported loss is $60.
FOUND PROPERTY
An employee of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 11:56 a.m. May 20 to report finding a motorcycle in a pond on the property. The owner was contacted and the motorcycle was towed from the scene.
ATTEMPTED HOME REPAIR FRAUD
A resident in the 2000 block of Chestnut Avenue reported at 7:56 p.m. May 21 that an employee from an HVAC company inspected their air conditioning units. The resident suspected fraud in the inspection.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A resident in the 2500 block of Glenview Road called police at 4:50 p.m. May 22 to report receiving a threatening text message. After a number in the text was called the text was recognized as a financial scam.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Natalie Baker, 50, of Glenview, is accused of no valid driver's license, operating a vehicle with expired registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was cited at 8:19 p.m. May 22 after a traffic stop at Harlem Avenue and Linneman Street. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of June 14.
POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
Amelie Pankov, 19, of the 8900 block of Heathwood Circle, Niles, is accused of possessing less than 10 grams of cannabis and was issued a village ordinance citation at 9:21 p.m. May 22 during an investigation at Willow Park, 2600 block of Greenwood Road.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Deviner Garrett, 25, of the 400 block of W 61st Place, Chicago, is accused of driving with a suspended license, and was cited at 12:51 a.m. May 24 following a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Willow Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of July 1 in Skokie.
THEFT
A resident in the 3800 block of La Fontaine Drive reported at 10:23 a.m. May 24 several items missing from their home after they hired a moving company to move out boxes.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Wildberry Drive resident called police at 6:38 p.m. May 24 to report receiving an email from an online sales company stating their debit card, correct last four digits, was used to purchase a $5,000 camera. A scam was recognized when a phone number in the email was called.
BATTERY
A resident of Highland Park reported at 9:39 p.m. May 24 being involved in a physical argument with their friend in a parking lot of a business in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue.
