Local Business Guide: What's Open And Closed In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — The coronavirus pandemic has yielded unexpected and detrimental results to local economies in Illinois. Some businesses have had to cut staff, some have had to slash hours of operations and others have had to close their doors altogether due to Gov. J.B. Pritzker's stay-at-home order.

However, some local businesses are still offering delivery, pick-up, remote services and transactions at a distance to continue to serve Glenview residents.

Earlier this month, we put a call out on Glenview Patch to local businesses with a request to provide an update on their current status, offer details on how customers can continue to patronize them — and to let the community know how they can best help during these challenging times.

Some of the dozens of local businesses who responded so far:

Middy Mags Pizzeria, 1127 Depot St., is open daily from 4 to 9 p.m. for pick-up, delivery or curbside pick-up.

Color Me Mine, 1855 Tower Dr., offers delivery Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tropical Smoothie Café, 2759 Pfingsten Road, is offering online ordering with in-store pick-up via tropicalsmoothiecafe.com or DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m daily.
