Man Charged with DUI After Crashing Car with Child Inside, Police Say
The incident happened in the middle of the night on Central Road.

Deceptive Practice
Wendie S. Baker, 20, of the 1800 block of S. Ridgeway Ave. in Chicago, was arrested in the 1500 block of Waukegan Rd. at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and charged with Criminal Trespass to Vehicle and Resisting Arrest. Following further investigation, Baker was additionally charged with Use of Counterfeit or Forged Credit card, Altered or Counterfeited Credit Card. She was transported to bond court on Sept. 13.

Suspended Driving
Officers investigating a traffic crash at West Lake Avenue and Landwehr Road at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 13 arrested Adolfo Mendoza-Betanzos, 33, of the 1700 block of Greenwood Road in Glenview, for Driving While Driving Privilege Suspended and Disobeying a Red Light. He released on $1500 bond with an Oct. 21 court date.

Unlicensed Driving
Officers investigating a traffic crash at Glenview and Shermer roads at 10 p.m. Sept. 13 arrested Salvador Larios, 44, of the 8800 block of Robin Drive in Des Plaines, for No Valid Driver’s License and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. He was released on $2,000 D bond with a Nov. 4 court date.
DUI / Child Endangerment
An off-duty officer reported a car off the road with extensive front damage with a driver and his 5-year-old child inside at 500 Central Road at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 14. The driver, Vladimir J. Jacques, 32, of the 10000 block of Holly Lane in Des Plaines, was arrestd for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Child Endangerment. He was released after posting his driver’s license and $1,000 bond and given an Oct. 24 court date.
Criminal Trespass
James L. Weathers, 62, and Michelle J. Weathers, 58, of the 4200 block of Lindentree Ln. in Glenview, were arrested in the 2400 block of Indian Ridge Dr. Sept. 14 and charged with criminal trespass to a residence after entering a home they thought was foreclosed on. They were released on a $1,000 bond with Oct. 20 court dates.
