Man Flips Off Landscaper; Females Fight At Hotel: Blotter
A landscaper said a man yelled at him, flipped him off while he was working; two women got in dispute at a hotel: Glenview Police Blotter.

- Luis Boyas, 30, of the 3400 block of W Diversey Avenue, Chicago, is accused of having a warrant out of Hanover Park for bond forfeiture (driving while license suspended charge), and was arrested at 1:12 p.m. June 22 in the 3200 block of Thornberry Lane. He posted a $5,000 bond and was assigned a court date of July 14 in Rolling Meadows.
- Eduardo Morales, 21, of the 400 block of 52nd Avenue, Bellwood, is accused of having a warrant out of Carol Stream for failure to appear (possession of cannabis), and was arrested at 5:52 p.m. June 25 in the 800 block of Juniper Road. He posted a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of July 29 in Wheaton.

An employee of a construction company working in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 7:59 a.m. June 22 two windows shattered on a tractor. It appeared the windows were shot out by BB-gun pellets. Estimate loss is $500.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1600 block of Central Parkway called police at 12:50 p.m. June 22 to report someone pried open the door leading into the attached garage. The offender entered the residence and ransacked several rooms, closets, and drawers. Estimated loss is $1,000.
THEFT
- A resident in the 300 block of 3rd Street reported at 7:49 p.m. June 22 someone stole their red coat containing one car key. She left the coat outside on the fenced door located by her entryway. Estimated loss is $151.
- An employee of a business in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 6:02 p.m. June 23 to report they accidentally wired $2,500 to the wrong person via a mobile payment application. They made contact with the person, but they refused to return the money. The total loss is $2,500.
- A Northbrook resident reported at 2:40 p.m. June 24 leaving a purse on a table outside a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard. When they returned, it was no longer on the table. The purse was later located in the 1900 block of Tower Drive with only the cash missing. Total reported loss is $200.
- A Glenview resident called police at 3:51 p.m. June 27 to report someone stole his backpack from an unlocked locker in the 3800 block of Willow Road. Total reported is $142.
SPEEDING
A 19-year-old was cited for speeding at least 35 mph over the limit at 8:05 p.m. June 22 after a traffic stop at Milwaukee Avenue and Zenith Drive. The driver was released on an I-bond.
TRESPASSING
A manager of a hotel in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 11:40 p.m. June 22 a dispute with two females who checked out of the hotel and were no longer paying guests. A trespass notice was given to the females.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
- A 55-year-old driver is accused of no valid driver's license, no seat belt, more passengers than seat belts, and was cited after a traffic stop at 6:06 p.m. June 24 in the 3700 block of Central Road. The driver was released on $2,500 bond.
- A 40-year-old driver is accused of no valid driver's license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was cited at 5:42 p.m. June 25 after a traffic accident at Golf Road and Waukegan Road. Driver was cited and released on an I-bond.
DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE
A 30-year-old driver is accused of driving with a suspended driver's license, speeding, and was cited at 6:53 p.m. June 24 after a traffic stop in the 3200 hundred block of Central Road. The driver was cited and released on a $2,500.00 I-bond.
ORDINANCE VIOLATION
An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 1 p.m. June 25 a piece of burned material appeared to be thrown over the fence at their property. An exterior checked revealed a used burn pit along with tables, chairs, and a patio umbrella along the north area of the property.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
- An employee of a business in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 2:20 p.m. June 25 to report a female returned to the store after being given trespass warning on a prior incident. The female left without purchasing anything prior to police arrival.
- A manager of a business in the 3300 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 2:20 p.m. June 26 a female entered the store again after being given numerous trespass warnings.
BURGLARY TO AUTO
- A resident in the 1500 block of Maple Street called police at 6:44 p.m. June 26 to report someone entered his unlocked vehicle which was parked on the street between June 21 and June 25. The offender removed coins from the center coin drawer and searched the glove box. Estimated loss is $8.
- A resident in the 1500 block of Maple Street reported at 7:20 p.m. June 26 someone entered his two vehicles parked on his driveway between June 24-25. The offender searched the center console and glove box in both vehicles. Nothing appeared missing at this time.
- A resident in the 4700 block of Locust Drive called police at 12:46 p.m. June 27 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked on the driveway and stole $5 in change from the center console.
BATTERY
A delivery driver reported at 3:37 p.m. June 25 a motorist dispute with another driver in the 2600 block of Shermer Road. The delivery driver indicated the male exited the vehicle and approached the delivery driver’s door. The delivery driver felt the subject tug on his shirt, and they exchanged words.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO STATE SUPPORTED PROPERTY
An employee called police at 5:25 p.m. June 25 damage to a vending machine located at a park in the 2500 Chestnut Avenue. The vending machine had a burn mark and damage to the front. Estimated loss is $2,000.
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Capital Drive reported at 8:51 p.m. June 26 a delayed retail theft which occurred on June 25. A male removed five bottles of alcohol from the store without making payment. Estimated loss is $135.
- An employee of a business in the 2300 block of Capital Drive called police at 9:24 a.m. June 26 to report a delayed retail theft, which occurred on June 23. A male removed six bottles of alcohol from the store without making payment. Estimated loss is $252.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Officers were called to the 400 block of Lotus Lane at 9:15 a.m. June 26 in reference to disorderly conduct. A landscaper reported he was cutting the lawn when a male started yelling, swearing, and flipping him off.
