Police say there will be no charges filed or tickets issued to the 69-year-old Wilmette woman who crashed her car through the glass windows of Glen Lake Cleaners Thursday afternoon.
The driver was treated and released at the scene, and there were no injuries to her or to anyone inside the business, according to Glenview Police Cmdr. Dave Sostak.
Sostak said he did not have an estimate of the damage to the cleaners, 1360 Patriot Blvd. An employee of the cleaners told Patch they did not have an estimate either as of Friday afternoon.

"I turned to the right to avoid hitting one, but drove into the dry cleaning store,” she told the Announcements. “I just remember seeing the owner’s face."
