Register Online for District 34 2019-2020 Kindergarten

Parents can register students new to District 34 for 2019-2020 as well.

If your child will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019, you can register for kindergarten right now! If your child will be in 1st or 2nd grade in 2019-2020 and will be new to District 34, you can register now as well. The District's new online registration process will make your first steps into District 34 easier and more efficient.

Register in Four Steps

  1. Complete the new student application: Visit https://www.glenview34.org/application. Not sure which school your child will attend? Click here! (Current D34 Early Childhood students should complete the returning student registration application through PowerSchool. Login and click “Registration” in the left navigation bar).
  2. Visit your child’s school any day school is in session to drop off your child’s birth certificate. Bring your child’s original, certified birth certificate and meet the wonderful office staff. Contact the school office to find out the best time to drop in:
  • Henking: (847) 998-5035, 2941 Linneman
  • Lyon: (847) 998-5045, 1335 Waukegan Road
  • Westbrook: (847) 998-5055, 1333 Greenwood Road

You also can attend the document drop-off night and meet the principal on February 21, 2019 from 4-7pm at all schools.

  1. Set up a PowerSchool account (or add your child to your existing account). Once the school approves your application, you’ll receive an email with information on how to create a Parent PowerSchool Account or add your new student to your existing account. PowerSchool is an important link between home and school. It’s where you will find your child’s report cards, how you can track attendance and meal transactions, and where you update your contact information if your phone or email address changes. Use the “Registration” link in PowerSchool to complete your student’s online registration.
  2. Verify residency and pay fees. Once you have a PowerSchool account and your child is in the system, you can upload the necessary residency documentation and pay the fees for the 2019-2020 school year. District 34 has launched a new payment system for fees and all online purchases: E-Funds for Schools. This new system offers lower transaction costs for parents, and is easy to use. Use the “Pay Fees - Lunch Deposits” link in PowerSchool for instructions on getting started with eFunds for Schools and connecting to the District’s web store.
