Rio Olympics 2016: When to Watch North Shore Rhythmic Gymnasts
The U.S. women's rhythmic gymnastic team, with ties to Highland Park and Northbrook, is looking to capture gold at this year's Games.

As the pomp and spectacle of the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro fade into the night Friday, the athletes—including a sizable contingent with North Shore ties—take center stage.
Here's a look at the local Olympians who are competing and when:
Rhythmic Gymnastics
U.S. Team: Monica Rokhman, Kiana Eide, Alisa Kano, Natalie McGiffert and Kristen Shaldybin (Jenny Rohkman, Monica's identical twin sister, is an alternate)
