Several Driving Arrests Made in Glenview

The following information is from the Glenview Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Retail Theft

Samantha Zimay, 20, of the 2600 block of Illinois Rd. in Northbrook, was arrested in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. and charged with Retail Theft Aug. 6. She was released on a $1,000 D-Bond with a Sept. 16 court date.

No Valid Driver’s License

Laura Weisensel, 19, of the 2300 block of Dewes St. in Glenview, was arrested in the 3300 block of Glenview Rd. Aug. 6 and charged with No Vaild Driver’s License and Disobeying a Red Light. She was released on a $1,500 D-Bond with a Sept. 2 court date.

Joaquin Cordero, 25, of the 2000 block of N. Stave St. in Chicago, was arrested in the 3300 block of Willow Rd. Aug. 6 and charged with No Valid Driver’s License, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and No Rear Registration Plate Light. He was released on a $2,000 D-Bond with a Sept. 2 court date.

Ana Ortiz, 23, of the 600 block of Piper Ln. in Prospect Heights, was arrested in the 3800 block of East Lake Ave. Aug. 6 and charged with No Valid Driver’s License and Improper Lane Usage. She was released on a $1,500 I-Bond with a Sept. 16 court date.

Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License

Mariya Thomas, 24, of the 1100 block of Courtland Dr. in Buffalo Grove, was arrested in the 10400 block of Dearlove Rd. Aug. 7 and charged with Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License. She was released on a $1,500 D-Bond with a Sept. 2 court date.

Warrant

Daniel Swope, 22, of the 300 block of Old Indian Trail, in Aurora, was arrested in the 1500 block of Independence Ave. Aug. 4 on a Failure to Appear Warrant from the Yorkville, IL Police Department. He was released after posting a $2,629.85 D-Bond with a court date set for Aug. 18.
