Poet Jennifer Dotson will read from her recently published and award-winning book,"Clever Gretel". Jennifer writes about the trials and discoveries of everyday life—sleeplessness, comfort food, losing one’s glasses. Her poems are often funny; they are always honest and wise. Open mic opportunity after the reading.

Fear City Opening Night
Opening Night for the third season of Fear City begins on Friday from 7:00 p.m. through midnight.

Glenview Square Dance Club
The theme will be Oktoberfest. Callers are Sprosty Twins, with rounds cued by Howard and Anna Hoffman. The dance lasts from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Glen Grove School.
