Top Chicago Marathon Finishers From Glenview
More than 100 finishers of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday call Glenview home.

44CHICAGO, IL -- More than 100 Glenview residents ran in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday.
The 26.2-mile course took runners through 29 Chicago neighborhoods, that went all the way north to Wrigley Field and south to U.S. Cellular Field.
Ned Zerwic, 27, was the first Glenview man to cross the finish line at 3:05:41 according to unofficial Chicago Marathon results. Jessica Garvey, 27, finished first among Glenview women finishing with a time of 3:34:1

Glenview's other top finishers included:
- Lyazid Raab, 45, 3:14:26
- Matt Pogodzinski, 41, 3:16:35
- Abby Engle, 25, 3:40:00
- Kim Laramore, 44, 3:41:50
Elite runners from Kenya dominated the race. Kenyan Abel Kirui finished first with a time of 2:11:22, beating out last year’s champion and fellow Kenyan Dickson Chum in the final mile. Florence Kiplagat, 29, was the top female finisher clocking in at 2:22:31. Results are still unofficial.
