4th Of July Fireworks 2021 In Grayslake

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Fireworks will be shot off at dusk on June 26 during the Taste of Grayslake Family Picnic & Fireworks. The festival will run from 3 to 10 p.m. at Central Park, 250 Liberty Lane.

  • Fireworks are planned to be set off at about 9:30 p.m. on July 4 at Butler Lake Park, 835 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. The village band concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., according to village officials.
  • Mundelein Community Days, Fireworks Show: Community Days will run July 3 through 5 at Kracklauer Park, 116 N. Lake St., Mundelein. Fireworks are scheduled for July 4 at 9:30 p.m. The full schedule of events is online.
  • Coca-Cola July 4th Fest, Fireworks: Six Flags Great America, 1 Great America Parkway, will be shooting off fireworks on July 3 and 4.
