Grayslake North Grad Is Headed To Olympics
Cyclist Felicia Stancil will compete in Tokyo this summer.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A Grayslake North High graduate is headed to the summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Felicia Stancil, a cyclist from Lake Villa, will represent the U.S. in BMX racing competitions when the summer games kick off later this month. Stancil began cycling when she was 4 years old and won her first World title in the Netherlands when she was 9 years old.
This is Stancil's first trip to the Olympics. She is a 2013 graduate of Grayslake North High School and graduated from Marian University in 2018.

Stancil plans to head to Tokyo around July 20 and will compete on July 29 and 30, Stancil told WFYI in Indianapolis in a recent interview.
