Advocate Condell to Host Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration
Clergy from Grayslake and Libertyville are set to participate.

Advocate Condell Medical Center will host its fifth annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration at 4 p.m. Nov. 24.
The celebration will be held at the Advocate Condell Centre Club, 200 W. Golf Road, Libertyville, and will feature leaders of the leaders of the Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim communities.
Local clergy who will be involved in the celebration are from First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, Annunciation of Our Lady Episcopal Church in Gurnee, Islamic Foundation North in Waukegan, Hindu Mandir of Lake County in Grayslake, Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville and Congregation Or Shalom in Vernon Hills, among others.
The celebration will be followed by food and fellowship at 5 p.m. Offerings collected at the celebration will benefit local food ministries and Feed My Starving Children.
"Thanksgiving is a celebration of gratitude and giving thanks for our many blessings, no matter your religious tradition," said Rev. Fred Rajan, vice president of mission and spiritual care at Advocate Condell.
