Fast Facts: Grayslake North is only in its 10th year of varsity existence, and the Knights made some history against Wauconda on Wednesday. They won their 20th game, setting a new school record. Einloth and Thomas are the leaders for Grayslake North. Going into Wednesday’s game, Thomas led the team with 364 points, 126 assists and 44 steals. Einloth was just behind Thomas in scoring with 356 points, while leading the team with 156 rebounds and 29 blocked shots. The Knights are balanced and have some size down low. That is something that Prairie Ridge lacks, but it hasn’t slowed the Wolves down. They have won nine straight coming into this game and lead the Fox Valley Fox with a 10-0 record (including a 71-53 win over Grayslake North on Jan. 12, one of only two losses for the Knights all season). Prairie Ridge features a guard-heavy lineup that is unselfish and spreads the ball around. Bradshaw leads the way, scoring 12.3 points per game, followed closely by Otto at 12.1 points per game. Otto is also the team’s leading rebounder at only 3.1 per game. Dorn adds 9.6 points per game and leads the team with 40 steals. Card dishes out 3.9 assists per game. The key is shooting percentage. The top six scorers all shoot 36 percent or better from three-point range and the top three shoot at least 76 percent from the line.
