Coroner, Cops Name Grayslake Man Killed While Crossing Waukegan Street
Police released the identity Tuesday afternoon of a Grayslake man who was killed late Sunday after being struck by an SUV in Waukegan.

GRAYSLAKE, IL - Police released the identity Tuesday afternoon of a Grayslake man who was killed late Sunday after being struck by an SUV in Waukegan.
Ryan Miller, 39, died at the scene of the June 25 crash. He was reportedly hit around 10:30 p.m. while crossing the street in the 200 block of Green Bay Road.
“The preliminary results of the autopsy confirm that his cause of death is due to multiple traumatic injuries," Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper said in a written statement. "The toxicology results are pending. Our sincerest condolences go out to the family of Mr. Miller."

Details about the crash remained scant Tuesday afternoon, though police said Monday that Miller's dark-colored clothing may have been a factor in the accident.
