GRAYSLAKE, IL — A portion of Route 120 that crosses over the railroad tracks in Grayslake was closed for several hours Thursday due to a disabled train, authorities said. Authorities initially reported the Canadian National train was blocking Route 120 west of Route 83 and Route 83 south of Route 137 at 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
By 9:30 a.m., Route 83 south of Route 137 was back open to traffic but Route 120 west of Route 83 remained closed, and blocked by the train, until 1 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
