GCHS Varsity Cheerleaders Win Fox Division Title

The Grayslake Central High School varsity cheerleaders took first place in the Fox Division Championship at Huntley High School Monday, winning the Fox Valley Conference - Fox Division title.

"Then had a one-point deduction yesterday and they were on-edge awaiting the results. They were not sure if they beat Hampshire, who had a solid performance," said parent Jay Hightower. 

"They are setting records and have sectionals in their sights," said Hightower.

The squad took first place at the Grayslake North Invitational Jan. 18.
